Acupuncturist

Paul is a passionate acupuncturist who studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at UTS. He is conducting research at UTS Graduate School about the clinical application of changes pulse size and strength according to the stress level. Paul has a special interest in musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain management and he has been studying various areas including myofascial, neuroanatomy, and functional medicine to providing careful assessment and optimal treatment for the patients. He is enthusiastic to help patient’s health with the ancient wisdom of oriental medicine and scientific knowledge of modern medicine. He employs Acupuncture, Acupressure, Cupping, Gua-sha, and Herbal Medicine. Paul is trained in the Korean Four Needle method (Sa-am acupuncture, Ling shu acupuncture) and Five-element pulse diagnosis. He is an instructor of Kuksundo (Korean Qigong) and practices meditation to help his patent’s mind-body balance Prior to becoming a TCM practitioner, he worked as a computer network engineer for 5 years in the office with night shift. He was a diligent engineer, but at the same time faced several health challenges. With this experience, he could understand the health risks caused by the sedentary lifestyle and help others accordingly. In his free time, he practices Qigong and meditation, and you can find him jogging in Centennial Park on Sunday morning.
